The absence of a fitness center or pet-friendly policy is also notable for some visitors.
The motel’s serene ambiance is heightened by simple yet charming touches, such as indie music softly playing outdoors during the day—an unexpected but welcome detail that enhances the calming seaside experience. This blend of simplicity and care cultivates a memorable and peaceful stay. However, individual experiences vary; some guests seeking accommodations for specific needs, such as traveling with pets or unique personal circumstances, may feel less accommodated.
Overall, Ventura Beach House Motel offers a straightforward, clean, and quiet retreat in Ventura. It aligns well with the expectations of budget-conscious travelers who prioritize safety, cleanliness, and friendly service over luxury. This makes it a valuable option for vacationers focused on exploring Ventura’s scenic coastline and local attractions without breaking the bank.

Great seaside motel. Best value and exceptional cleanliness. Complete pride of ownership here. Very nice staff with quick check in quiet. No obvious permanent residents like the tragic run down motels next to the mall with all the drug activity. If your visiting Ventura you can actually bring your children to this motel and feel safe.
My husband and I chose this motel because of the price. It was summer time and all of the hotel and motel prices skyrocketed. The Ventura Beach house was the only place within our budget. I worried about cleanliness and quality of this location but we were pleasantly surprised! The owners were very friendly and the grounds were clean, freshly painted and very nice. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. In my opinion cleanliness and a comfortable bed is more important than modern and new. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend then Ventura Beach House motel!
Immaculate, exceptionally clean room with coffee maker. Beautiful Indie music playing outdoors during the day, when I walked the grounds, helped created a peaceful, memorable stay. The staff, managers, and owners were warm, helpful, and friendly. I had a great time.
Perhaps because I am a single man with a dog, I felt unwelcome. The proprietor couldn't have known that I had capsized my boat, which I lived on, about 10 miles from my day's destination, Ventura. I had spent several days at a horrendously overpriced Motel 6, and needed to find something more affordable. Hence, the Ventura Beach House Motel. Work and painting was being done at some of the rooms, and the motel looked very presentable. Some reviewers complained about the rooms or the bedding, but they were both fine to me. I'd love to see this family owned (I assume) establishment succeed, and I think that would be possible if it hired a hospitality professional for the front desk, at least from, say 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. A weary traveler should be welcomed with respect, not fear and suspicion.
